Painting course with Christer Tronsmed
In this 2-day course at Fondahuset in Røros, you will dive into the world of painting under the guidance of the talented artist Christer Tronsmed. We will work with light and shadow, and let the colors bloom on the canvas.

The month of April is named after the Greek goddess of love Aphrodite. The name comes from the Latin "aperire" or "aprilis", which means to start, just like nature does in the spring month of April. In this course we will be lush like Aphrodite and start like the month of April!
In the one where the old falls, in the one where the new takes hold
We invite beginners and advanced artists to challenge themselves on the canvas this weekend. We work in the landscape between light and shadow, before we invite the colors in fully. We will create magic with paint, but also among ourselves. The atmosphere will be set with a lush commitment from course participants, artist and host.
Everything you need is included!
We provide all course materials, but you must bring your own brushes. We use acrylic paint on canvas, and provide an easel, cloths, canvas and paint.
Lunch with a view
Trygve and Rolf in Fondahuset serve a tempting lunch table with both high and low glasses. We enjoy the food while enjoying the fantastic view of Rondane from the studio. (Please let us know if you have any allergies.)
Accommodation:
Fondahuset has arranged good accommodation arrangements with Hotel Røros, which is a 10-minute walk from the course venue. Please contact us for more information.
About the artist:
Christer T. Tronsmed (b. 1980) is a figurative painter who works mainly with oil and watercolor, as well as graphic techniques. He was born and raised in Røros, and much of his art is inspired by the surroundings there. He has had several solo exhibitions and received a grant from Røros Municipality.
