Holding a concert to raise money for A Helping Hand: The goal is 20,000 kroner

The enthusiasts and idea makers behind Fondahuset AS are spreading the word to other enthusiasts. On Tuesday, November 28, they will open the doors to Fondahuset and invite you to a charity concert. They will be accompanied by a star-studded line-up of musicians, and the goal is to raise 20,000 kroner for the organization En hilpende hånd.

– The Christmas season is extra difficult for those who are struggling financially. We therefore hope that Fondahuset's contribution will help a little for those who need a helping hand, say the initiators of Konstknektveien 68, Trygve Hovdal and Rolf Johnsen.

Enthusiasts supporting enthusiasts

In 2023, the voluntary organization En hilpende hånd Fjellregionen received the Røros Municipality Volunteer Award for making an important difference for many families in the Fjellregionen.

-We are incredibly grateful and appreciate that there are such generous souls who choose to support us. We believe that the event will have great significance, says Linn-Kristin Bukkvoll from En hilpende hånd. The funds, she explains, will go to buy food for those in need and will help run the organization for the rest of the year. The justification for the award of the volunteer award specifically mentions the organization's fundraising for Christmas. Every year, the organization encourages those who are in need during the Christmas season to submit applications for Christmas aid.

Last year, the organization saw an especially large influx of applications and received approximately 60. This year, too , there are many people who need help during the holiday season .

– It looks like we have received about the same number of applications for Christmas aid this year as last year, but we are prepared for even more to come, says Linn-Kristin.

Make an important difference

Fondahuset wants to raise 20,000 kroner with the event.

– They make an important difference for many families in the Mountain Region through their work, remind Hovdal and Johnsen.

Tickets for 250 kroner can be purchased via Hoopla.no or at the door with Vipps. There are limited seats.
